I paint iconic women to celebrate the feminine spirit, and to inspire girls and women to do great things in life. We often limit ourselves by saying that we can’t do something, rather than saying “yes, we can do this!”

I want to show women that we all struggle at times, but we all can achieve what we truly desire by breaking through the self-limiting beliefs.

I create magical realism paintings that re-interpret the lives of the iconic women. I paint them as female heroes that can also fail and be vulnerable, yet are able to push through the circumstances to achieve their goals. Influenced by my Russian heritage, I employ the classical painting techniques to depict my thoughts and ideas on canvas.
